Step into the heart of the North Texas Food Bank’s mission through an engaging, hands-on experience that brings our work to life by giving you a look at some of the tough choices our neighbors face when shopping for groceries with a limited budget. This interactive installation is a powerful, hands-on way to learn more about hunger in our community and about the impact of your support as we work to ensure no child goes hungry in North Texas.

 

After 20 years, one of North Texas Food Bank’s signature events is evolving into Taste! At The Star—a premier culinary experience at The Star in Frisco. Presented by Tyson Foods and co-chaired by Ginny Kissling, President Americas & Chief Operating Officer at Ryan, and Tom Walker, Chief Financial Officer, Dallas Cowboys. Join us on Friday, June 13, 2025, for an unforgettable evening featuring live entertainment, gourmet tastings from top restaurants, and a shared commitment to fighting hunger in North Texas.


The new name sharpens the focus on NTFB’s vision that no child goes hungry, reinforcing that access to nutritious food helps children learn, grow, and thrive – and that it takes our community working together to achieve this goal.

The event is taking place on the field, so heels are discouraged.

Parking and Entry:

Free self-parking is available in the Blue or Silver Garages. No valet will be available. To enter the event, please walk across the street through Tostitos Plaza.
